Hello darling! How are you on this happy holiday weekend? I hope you are having a wonderful time. You gotta love the Dutch. And I sure do! The Dutch made Easter 2 days long. Thank you, Dutchies! In my family, we celebrate both Easter and Passover. I was raised Jewish and my husband was raised Catholic. This basically gives us the opportunity to celebrate just about any holiday that we can get our hands on. Here\u2019s my little holiday gift to you: 8 expressions that have the word \u2018egg\u2019 in it, and my\u00a0Favorite Dirty Jewish Joke<\/strong>. (Be warned. You must be over 21 to continue reading.)<\/p>\n

8 EGGY EXPRESSIONS:\u00a0<\/strong>
\nTry to activate these \u2018eggy\u2019 expressions and work one into your next conversation! Let me know how you used it!<\/p>\n

\u201cTo egg someone on<\/strong>\u201d \u2013 to incite or to encourage someone to do something, often something risky or naughty. \u201cShe was egged on by her friends to go up to that hottie and offer to buy him a drink.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cTo egg someone\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 to throw eggs at someone. \u201cDamn, I got egged on April Fool\u2019s Day!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cTo have egg on one\u2019s face\u201d\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>– when one is embarrassed at having done something foolish or unwise. \u201cHe really had egg on his face when he gave his presentation and burped during his intro!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cTo walk on eggshells\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 to be very cautious; to try not to upset or offend someone. \u201cWe really had to walk on eggshells at work when we heard that reductions were imminent in our department.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cA good egg\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 someone who\u2019s a really good and honest person. \u201cI don\u2019t mind if you borrow my brand new Tesla; you\u2019re a good egg.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYou cannot make an omelet without breaking a few eggs<\/strong>\u201d \u2013 this means that you have to give up or change something in order to get or create something better. \u201cSo, we have to break down that garage in order to build a new wellness center? Well, you can\u2019t make an omelet without breaking a few eggs.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cA nest egg\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 This is an amount of money that you are saving for later. \u201cDon\u2019t feel sorry for him for getting laid off \u2013 I hear he\u2019s got quite a nest egg!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cA bad egg\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 this should come as no surprise, but it\u2019s someone who is badly behaved or dishonest. \u201cOMG, you broke my new Tesla?!? You are such a bad egg!\u201d<\/p>\n

And now it\u2019s time for one of my Favorite Dirty Jewish Jokes:<\/strong><\/p>\n

An older woman goes to see her doctor. He asks, \u201cWhat\u2019s the matter? You\u2019re in perfect health!\u201d She replies, \u201cI\u2019m not here for me, but for my husband. He\u2019s not interested in making love anymore and I don\u2019t know what to do!\u201d \u201cOh\u201d, the doctor says, \u201cgive him some Viagra. I\u2019ll write you a prescription.\u201d \u201cBut no, doctor\u201d, the woman replied,\u00a0\u00a0\u201che hates medicine of any kind \u2013 he won\u2019t even take an aspirin! There\u2019s no way I can get him to take that pill! What else can I do?\u201d \u201cAha!\u201d said the doctor, \u201cthen you need to give him Secret Viagra.\u201d \u201cWhat\u2019s that?\u201d asked the woman. \u201cSecret Viagra is when you slip the pill in his coffee. Just give it to him the next time you have coffee \u2013 he\u2019ll never know the difference.\u201d \u201cOk, doctor, thank you. I will try that.\u201d And off she went.<\/p>\n

Two days later she comes back to the doctor, limping. The doctor said, \u201cWhat\u2019s wrong? Did you have an accident? Did you fall down?\u201d \u201cNo!\u201d she replied, \u201cNot at all!\u201d\u00a0\u00a0\u201cThen what happened?!\u201d said the doctor. The woman sighs. \u201cI did just what you told me to do. I put the Viagra in his coffee. Before I knew it, my husband ripped open his shirt, like some kind of animal, and made love to me for an hour right there on the table like Cassanova.\u201d \u201cOh!\u201d exclaimed the doctor. \u201cThat\u2019s very good news! I\u2019m so glad it worked!\u201d \u201cWell, I\u2019m not\u201d, said the woman. \u201cWhy not?\u201d asked the doctor. \u201cI can never go back to that Starbucks again.\u201d<\/p>\n
