PERFECTION. KILLS. PROGRESS.
\nStop holding on to it.<\/p>\n

I had this talk with a client recently about why\u00a0she should stop beating herself up by comparing herself to others she felt were \u2018perfect\u2019.
\nLet me break it down for you.<\/p>\n

Perfection is self-sabotage.
\nPerfection kills progress.
\nPerfection stops creativity.
\nPerfection limits risk-taking.
\nPerfection is you holding a false ideal against yourself.
\nBased on what you THINK someone has achieved.
\nBased on how you THINK someone looks (hello, IG filters).<\/p>\n

Perfection makes you feel bad about you.
\nDon\u2019t compare yourself to others.<\/p>\n

Compare yourself to YOU.<\/p>\n

Do you feel better today about where you are than yesterday?
\nIs this month more interesting, productive, inspiring than last month?
\nDo you love yourself now just a tiny bit more than you did a year ago?<\/p>\n

That\u2019s true progress.
\nThat\u2019s real life.
\nThat\u2019s real growth.<\/p>\n

Let perfection go\u00a0and start to grow!
