So rewarding!<\/p>\n<p>I had a few more interviews, but I\u2019ll keep you in suspense until they are posted. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<p><strong>GRAMMAR \u2013 Your Questions Answered<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;What\u2019s the difference between \u2018for\u2019 and \u2018since\u2019?&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Good question! They are both used to talk about things that are still happening, but have a different perspective \u2013 both <em>\u201cI have worked here for 3 years\u201d,<\/em> en <em>\u201cI have worked here since 2009\u201d<\/em> are correct. For is used for a period of time (for 3 days, weeks, months, years, etc) and since tells us when the action started (since Monday, since I was a child, since April, etc.). If you\u2019d like to practise this more, check out chapter 5 in Rock Your English!<\/p>\n<p><strong>PRONUNCIATION \u2013 Tongue Twister Time!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The \u2018ths\u2019 sound is one of the hardest to make in English. You need to stick out your tongue all the way out to make the \u2018th\u2019 sound and then slide it back in quickly to get to the \u2018s\u2019 sound.
