I love boundaries. \ud83d\uded1<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It took me a long time to develop them, and to feel comfortable sharing my boundaries with others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But you know what? It\u2019s one of the greatest things in my personal and professional life.\ud83e\udd73<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One of the biggest insights many clients have during our coaching sessions is this: \u2b07\ufe0f<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Make your NO super strong so that your YES is stronger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Because your YES is meaningful and important. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
When I say YES it\u2019s a HUGE yes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I\u2019m in, 100%. \ud83d\udcaf<\/p>\n\n\n\n
WATCH OUT<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sometimes you give a half-hearted yes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And then, because you\u2019ve committed to it, there\u2019s often another YES following that YES. So now you have to say yes to that. \ud83d\ude31<\/p>\n\n\n\n
STOP IT BEFORE IT GROWS<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It\u2019s better to have a clear NO at the beginning to stop yourself from being overcommitted. It\u2019s harder to say NO later in the game, when expectations and pressure are even higher. \ud83d\ude05<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When was the last time you said yes and why did you say it?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Was it because you wanted to avoid conflict?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Or because you felt you could do it faster, and you didn\u2019t have time to explain it?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Or because no one else stepped up, so you had to\u2026again?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
