I\u2019m an avid reader. I read between 2 and 3 books a month. So many people have asked me for some great reading tips, and I\u2019m so happy to share a few gems with you here! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\ud83d\udcdaBIOGRAPHIES: <\/strong>I love reading honest accounts of flawed people. (Which we ALL are.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n Christina Applegate<\/strong>-She\u2019s a better writer than you might think, and she discusses her struggles with MS, combined with growing up in the spotlight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Rick Astley<\/strong> – so humble, so self-depreciating, and explains how he got rickrolled himself! <\/p>\n\n\n\n Lena Dunham<\/strong> – a fan from the first episode of Girls. So honest, in your face, and zero f*cks given. Her health journey is raw and compelling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Lindy West<\/strong> – she\u2019s sassy (read Shrill), and honest, and tries to save her sanity (and her marriage) on a road trip. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Belle Burden<\/strong> -unsettling true story of the demise of a semi-socialite\u2019s marriage, soon to be a movie – can\u2019t wait! <\/p>\n\n\n\n Jerry Seinfeld<\/strong> – always. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Chelsea Handler <\/strong>– also always. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Ina Gartner<\/strong> – loves her husband as much as she loves cooking – inspired by both! <\/p>\n\n\n\n Nobody\u2019s Girl<\/strong> – the tragic story of Virginia Giuffre<\/strong> and the evil known as Epstein (and Prince Andrew, among others)<\/p>\n\n\n\n which led me to\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n Entitled<\/strong> – In-depth bio of Andrew and Fergie. It\u2019s very juicy and changed my perception of these two! <\/p>\n\n\n\n \ud83d\udcdaGREAT READS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n David Sedaris<\/strong> – I will read anything this man does, over and over again. Hilarious and astute. If you can see him live, GO. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Ocean Vuong<\/strong> – the best writer I\u2019ve come across in a decade. He threads words on a golden thread. Every sentence is curated and deliberate. Can\u2019t get enough. Moved to tears often. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Matt Haig<\/strong> – brutal and very moving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \ud83d\udcdaHELPFUL READS:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n How to Break Up With Your Phone<\/strong> – your phone is a toxic boyfriend, and this is how you end it. Really helped me a lot. It\u2019s time to go to the bathroom without your toxic boyfriend. Because\u2026.you really need a reason for this one? That says enough. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
