I’m trying to avoid news of the world today. Trying hard. Trying hard and failing. As I type, my phone is next to me, sending me push notifications of horrible things happening and my phone wants me to know about it right away.<\/p>\n
So I’m digging deep, focussing on my keyboard, trying to Get Stuff Done before I go on holiday. One of the Big Things I’m working on is something I’ve never done before.<\/p>\n
I’m writing a script.
\nIt’s for something I’ve been working on for a long time.
\nIt’s for 10,000 people.
\nIt’s a secret for a little while longer.
\nBut it is (to me) a Very Big Deal.<\/p>\n
Have I ever written a script before?
\nNo.
\nAm I nervous?
\nNo.
\nWhy not?
\nBecause I’ve never done it before, so I don’t know how to fail. I don’t know how to mess it up. I have no idea what I’m doing.
\nBut I’m doing it anyway.<\/p>\n
If you don’t know what you’re doing, you also don’t know how to make a mistake, right?<\/p>\n
Right.
\nAt least that’s what they say in Buffiland.<\/p>\n
