Why wait until Thursday?
This Thursday, many people in the States will gather around the table with their loved ones and celebrate Thanksgiving. Hopefully their thanks will be just as bountiful as their meals, and they will be wearing clothes with elastic waistbands. (Many zippers break during this meal… #funfact.)
For me, every day holds an attitude of gratitude.
It started when I was about 7 years old and diagnosed with a chronic disease.
I was so happy that every day I got a new chance thanks to new medicine and a specialized medical team.
This feeling of ‘Yeah! One more day!’ has only grown as I hit middle age.
I’m so deeply appreciative of my life and the people in it.
I know my days here are limited, and I am deeply grateful for every moment of joy I can find.
NOW IT’S YOUR TURN
What are you grateful for today? The smallest things can bring so much joy.
Find it, cherish it, celebrate it, and share it.
Giving a compliment to someone else could be the greatest gift they receive this month.
Don’t hold back.
Sip slowly from the golden goblet of gratitude.
Today and every day.
It’s so delicious, and like so many other things, it tastes even better when shared.
Thank you so much for reading my newsletter!
With love and gratitude,
Buffi
PS: Would you like to work more on finding positivity and gratitude? My new book has chapters specifically dedicated to this – check out chapter G! Plus more on setting boundaries, how to use your time well, and so much more. Let’s end the year with Joy!
I’m happy to sign one for you with a personal message, either in Dutch or in English. These books make a very meaningful and special holiday gift. Sharing is caring!
