It really works!
Have you ever been jealous of someone?š¤
Thinking theyāre all thatā¦and youāre nothing?ā¹ļø
I get it.
But guess what?
Iām going to show you how to use that feeling as a tool for personal growth instead of getting stuck in the shame game.š„³
Itās my A5 APPROACH, and itās so easy and effective.
This is what you do:
ā ADMIRE a quality, characteristic, or skill in someone. Ok. Got it. Next.
ā APPROACH them. Reach out to them by email, LinkedIn, or actually (gasp!) walk up to them. Youāre just one step away from greatness.
ā ASK them how they got to be so good at what they do. What podcasts, people, books, courses, etc could they recommend so that you can get started on learning this skill?
ā APPLY what they have shared with you. Take baby steps on truly putting in the work to start developing this new skill. Small sustainable simple steps will always take you further than trying to jump into a marathon youāll never finish (and then hating yourself for giving up).
ā APPRECIATE the kindness and generosity of the person you reached out to. Let them know how you are progressing and the impact itās had on your life. A small gesture of gratitude goes a long way.
I hope this simple tip serves you well. š
Instead of getting caught in the shame game or comparison crisis, letās all put in the effort to truly connect and learn from each other. Thatās what life is all about! š
Liefs,
Buffi
