I don’t know what I’m doing, so I cannot fail. Neither can you.

I’m trying to avoid news of the world today. Trying hard. Trying hard and failing. As I type, my phone is next to me, sending me push notifications of horrible things happening and my phone wants me to know about it right away.

So I’m digging deep, focussing on my keyboard, trying to Get Stuff Done before I go on holiday. One of the Big Things I’m working on is something I’ve never done before.

I’m writing a script.
It’s for something I’ve been working on for a long time.
It’s for 10,000 people.
It’s a secret for a little while longer.
But it is (to me) a Very Big Deal.

Have I ever written a script before?
Am I nervous?
Why not?
Because I’ve never done it before, so I don’t know how to fail. I don’t know how to mess it up. I have no idea what I’m doing.
But I’m doing it anyway.

If you don’t know what you’re doing, you also don’t know how to make a mistake, right?

At least that’s what they say in Buffiland.

So I’m typing away, a big smile on my face, excited for what’s to come.I can’t wait to share the news with you – coming soon!

Oh Buffi, I hope your days are full of new adventures, new decisions, and new endeavours. And may you be a part of someone else’s new adventures soon.

Do something for the first time today (if you can. If you can’t, do something for the first tine tomorrow).
And enjoy the fact that you can’t mess it up.

I’m off to explore new horizons, and I’ll be back on August 15th. With news!

Sending you a month’s worth of Buffilove and summer hugs (I actually don’t know what a ‘summer hug’ is, but I imagine that it’s something like this….),

Have a lovely summer!
With love and gleeful anticipation,

X buffi
