Help me celebrate my 51st birthday with 51derful things!

Happy Monday!

I’m turning 51 on August 28th.
I am really excited!
In English, we have the expression ‘Age only matters if you are a cheese or a wine.’
The last time I checked, I was neither!
So many people fear getting old.
But not me, I am proud to be 51! I have honestly never felt better about myself or my life.
And I am thrilled that I have been given the chance to live this long. So many wonderful people did not make it this far.
Every day is a gift.
And that’s where you come in.
To help me with a list of 51 good deeds for people and our planet that I can do as part of my birthday celebration!
It’s a list of 51derful things!
I have already started, based on suggestions I have received on my social media platforms when I posted my idea a few days ago.

I picked up 51 pieces of trash at Lowlands. After seeing this photo, others started doing the same!

I also made a motivational video for new English students, sent a personal card to someone having a hard time, got in touch with charities, and more.
There is still some space for more ideas.
What’s yours?

Here are some things on my list so far – just to give you an idea about what’s happening in Buffiland these days….
*go vegan for a week
*plant a tree
*clean up 51 cm of my garden
*leave a book on a train for a stranger
*organize another free hug day (details coming soon!)
*send my ebook to a nursing home so that the residents can learn English on their Ipads
*volunteer at a charity for a day
*share a budget recipe
*share a meal with a stranger
*take my own coffee cup with me
*take my own water bottle with me
* bake a cake for someone
*do a free English lesson online
etc, etc…

So, my dear, what is missing from this list? You tell me. New suggestions come in every day!
If you have any ideas on what I can do to help make the world a little bit happier, please let me know!
Thank you so much, I can’t wait to hear from you!
