’m back, dahlink!
Back from a wonderful vacation in Florida and Chicago, sweetie – but enough about me, how have you been? You look fabulous! Did you do something to your hair?
EVERY DAY LIVED IS A MEMORY MADE
I learned so much on my vacation in the States. My dad taught me how to start a new business and take new risks when you’re 71 (‘Why the hell not?”). I learned about perseverance from my friend Bryon who spent years going to nursing school to become a night shift emergency room nurse. I learned about sustainable design from Alexander who I met on an abandoned beach in Chicago who spent 7 hours making art made out of 3 miles of string, only to take it down 1 hour later. I learned that my sister-in-law Liz is really my sister-in-love because we share a soul, and I learned that you can be best friends with someone since the age of 10 and still laugh at the lamest jokes ever from 35 years ago (thanks, Lisa!). I also learned that I’m really, really good at not working. For a short amount of time. Which ended when I started writing this newsletter. That’s how much I love you.
I SAVE ASS WITH A LITTLE HELP FROM MY LITTLE FRIENDS
I got some help from some special friends in making you this video, which deals with a very common problem in English- when to use A and when to use AN. Check out the great artwork, too! Enjoy!
YOUR QUESTIONS – ANSWERED!
“Mom, can I have another peanut butter chocolate rainbow sprinkle cupcake?”
No.
HATE TO LOVE YOU AND LEAVE YOU
But I have The Mother Of All Jet Lags.
Sending you a peanut butter chocolate rainbow sprinkle cupcake bigger than your head and a bottomless cup of Kona coffee and a huge Sunday newspaper where you read that the weather all over the world sucks except for where you are…in my head.
