HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I know, I know, January 1st was AGES ago, but I don’t care. This is the newest newsletter of the new year and by golly I’m going to wish you a happy new year because YOU ROCK!! Did you have a lovely time? And did your holiday fly by at the speed of light, just like mine did? If so, that means you were having a blast. I sure was! But now it’s time to get back in the saddle again…

WHAT’S UP IN BUFFILAND

I had a great balance between work and play (what am I saying, I play all the time at work!) and coached Giovanca and Tim Knol on their new albums, worked on a new song by the Dudettes (you might see a familiar face or two on this video), and helped Birgit Schuurman prepare for co-hosting the EBBA awards with Jools Holland later this week!

I also answered the phones for Serious Request and was touched by the generosity of strangers. More next year! And thank you to P. who bid nearly 600 euros for our disco bowling with Anneke van Giersbergen! Can’t wait!

I was also featured in the latest issue of ESTA magazine, where I was followed for a day and talk about my mission. Check it here!

THEY SAY YOU NEVER FORGET YOUR FIRST TIME…

and I sure won’t! I had my first solo event, the Rock Your English! Winter Session on December 15th in Amsterdam – it was fabulous! Here’s a short video about how it went…

Q: LIFE or LIVE?
A: You can watch a band play live, you can live somewhere, you can have a live broadcast, etc. But you only have one life. So make it count!

Q: LOOSE or LOSE?
A: Many people want to lose weight after the holidays. This means that they hope their pants will be loose. And if they get fit, maybe they won’t feel like a loser anymore! 😉
