What a year it’s been.
The word that best describes this year is LAUNCH.
Professional why:
This year, after 3 years of living in a laboratory, I was finally able to launch Communication Nation. We had the doors open for just 18 days, as we had 3 launch periods. Nearly 400 members from 13 countries have joined our lively community, and I could not be prouder of the result. We have big plans for CN next year, so watch this space!
This was taken at our first Learning Live of the year. What a wonderful day it was!
Personal why:
This year we launched the birds. I mean our kids. Apparently my husband and I are now empty nesters. However, as a Word Nerd, this does not resonate well with me. I prefer to call us Bird Launchers. We are loving this new phase in our lives and have big plans for the future, full of new adventures. Our life is very elevating these days!
