Surprising….but true!

It might look like two people talking, but it’s not.
There are actually 6 conversations going on here:
1: Me talking to Ed (in NY, how I love working there!)
2: Ed talking to me (I hope he feels the same.)
3: ME talking to ME while I’m talking to Ed (‘Does he understand me? Am I making myself clear?’)
4: ED talking to ED while he’s talking to me (‘Does she get what I mean? Can she really help me?’)
5: My body language talking.
6: His body language talking.
Remember this the next time you have a conversation with someone.
Check in with yourself (and your body!) to see what you are saying to yourself while you are talking to them.
You might realize there’s a lot more going on than you think!
