Devastated and elated…

A personal note from my heart…

I’m sitting on the floor in my living room, surrounded by flowers and cards.

Half of them say ‘Congratulations!’ and the other half ‘My deepest condolences’. 

It’s been a hell of a week, to put it mildly. 

I launched my new book ‘You Are The Best Thing That Has Ever Happened To You’ on October 15. It was a day I had been waiting for and working towards all year, and I had a huge celebration, featuring lots of friends like Dolf Jansen and Tim Knol. It was truly the highlight of the year for me.

The next day, my mother died unexpectedly. It was shocking and sudden. I took the first flight available to the States. She will be so missed. 

It’s been a rollercoaster of a week – so many messages of condolences on the passing of my brilliant mother (who was my sparring partner for the book), and messages from people reading my new book and loving it.

HOW AM I? 

I’m coping. Day by day. I am applying all the lessons in my new book to myself, and I have to say …they work.

I am hooking into gratitude even deeper than before and I’m on a mission to spread Joy everywhere, more than ever.

I say Joy because that was my Mom’s middle name – Joy.

She was the best.

The heaviest hearts are the fullest.💝
