I’m ready to fail in public. Want to watch?

Happy Monday!
It’s a great day to have a great day.
It’s also a great day to announce that this week I will fail on stage.
Yes, you read that right.

This Wednesday evening, I’m honored to be the guest star of Boom Chicago’s new Musical Improv show.
It’s the kickoff for something totally cool. And my dear friend Brendan who you might know from Ted Lasso is also going to be there on stage as well….but in July.

Do I know what is going to happen?
Nope. It’s improv.
All I know is that I have to be prepared for anything.
And everything.
I’ll be up there on stage, interacting spontaneously with some really talented (and OMG so funny!!) improv comedians, and I’m sure I’ll do something wrong along the way.
And I am so delighted to say that I have reached a point in my life where I am absolutely fine with failing in public.

Why?

Because to me, trying and not getting it right is not failing.
To me, failing is not trying.

So…I’m going to give it my best shot.
We will see what happens!

The show is all in English, so if you’d like a fun night out with drinks, snacks, and your favorite English coach dying a fun death on stage….join me!

Love, Buffi
