Introducing…..Songwriter’s Day! Half-price coaching for new artists!

I’ve never done this before…so I don’t know how to fail.

I have the best job in the world.
I get to work with game changers. Soul shakers. Rule breakers.

People who follow their heart and get things done. People who are so successful in their own field (like Jandino Asporaat, the comedian and TV host, and Ineke Kooistra, the CEO of Young Capital) yet want to have new challenges in English. It’s an honor to work with them on their goals and dreams and I so love seeing them grow as speakers and inspiring communicators. You can see how we suffer together here:

I also get to work with top artists – I just finished work on the new Racoon album. It’s brilliant. Full of surprises yet somehow recognizable as their signature sound. I’ve been coaching Bart, the singer and lyricist, for over 11 years and we laugh and work so hard.  I look forward to every album, and I think we’ve done 5 of them together now. Have I mentioned lately how much I love my job? (I do. SO MUCH.)

However, I realize not everyone is a Racoon. Not every artist can afford private coaching. I get asked at least 4 times a week to check someone’s lyrics and have a critical listen to their pronunciation. My fee is normally too high for many starting artists.

So….I made SONGWRITER’S DAY!

It’s a day (actually 2 days) full of private coaching sessions for songwriters at 50% off my standard fee. It’s on 9 or 13 December at my happy humble office in Den Bosch. There are 14 spaces available, and you can come with your whole band if you like for the same price. (I have 5 chairs.)

This is the only time this year I’m doing artist coaching this way, and we’ll see how it goes. Maybe it will sell out in a couple of weeks. Maybe no one is interested. There’s only one way to find out!

I’m excited – this gives me the opportunity to work with people who I might not normally get the chance to work with.

What’s the worst  that can happen? Nobody shows up and I sit and read a book in an empty office?
(That actually sounds kind of awesome, actually.)

Anyway, if you’re interested or know someone who might be, you can find out more at www.buffiduberman.com.

I’ll let you know what happens….but there’s no newsletter next week as I’ll be in Los Angeles.

Sending you love and hope you get the chance to do something new today. What will it be?
Let me know!

With love,
