One simple hack to create more space…

in your calendar and in your body!

My client told me recently that a simple tip I gave him made such a difference in his crazy schedule. He’s a CEO of a multinational, and runs from one meeting to the next. This little hack served him so well I just had to share it here with you!

It’s this:

Take a look at your calendar. Before you have a meeting, I want you to write EXHALE in your calendar, and give yourself a calendar alert 5 minutes before that meeting starts. It might sound crazy to remind yourself to breathe before an important meeting, but we have breathing and then we have B-R-E-A-T-H-I-N-G. A low and slow exhale makes all the difference.

Studies have shown that if your exhale is longer than your inhale, you immediately reduce the flight, fight, or freeze hormone which adds to your stress levels. Walking into that meeting after a long, slow, and low exhale means you are more focussed and balanced, and ready to communicate and lead on a deeper level.
