HELLO DAHLINK!

So happy to be in your inbox once again! How have you been? Busy? I know. You know sometimes I worry about you. You’ve been working so hard. You need to take care of yourself! Are you eating right? If you haven’t had any fruit yet today, please, I beg of you,try this.

WEBINAWESOME!

Last week I launched my very first series of Webinars – on how to Rock Your English Presentation! It was very exciting to do and I’m totally thrilled that it went so well (and that I didn’t hang up on anyone). One participant said “I found it very useful and a nice way to spend a Wednesday evening. Thank you for hosting!”

I really loved connecting live with so many people from all over the place.  Webinars are, to me, the start of a brand new educational adventure, and I’m so excited to see where this new road will take me. For those of you who joined me on that road – thank you so much! I truly appreciate your support, as always. The next Webinar is slated for the end of May – I’ll keep you posted!

I MADE THIS QUICK VIDEO VERY QUICKLY

Here’s my latest video – this week the ass-saving is on adjectives and adverbs! These 2 parts of grammar get confused easily and often. I hope this helps you to master these fabulous components of the English language! Enjoy!

WHAT’S UP IN BUFFILAND

I’ve been working on the new Handsome Poets album, and boy, you are all in for a great treat later this year! I’ve also been working with emerging talent in the studio and preparing for auditions at the Rockacademie. It’s a busy, happy time in Buffiland and I am grateful that I get to do what I do every single day. (Oh, I also ran my first 5k in years. Was a huge challenge but I did it! Let’s see how long I can keep this up…)

YOUTUBE UPDATE

Darling, next week there won’t be a newsletter as it’s a national holiday in the Netherlands, but I have found a great way to keep you busy! My Youtube page has been updated and now it’s really easy to find dozens of videos on pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, interviews with pop stars, and my dad wearing a rainbow wig. Check it out!

YOUR QUESTIONS- ANSWERED!

“Hey Buffi, which is more polite? Would or could? I always get them confused!”  – from S, a student.
Well, S(martie), I understand the confusion. In English we have lots of different ways to express formality. I could go into detail about it, but this video just might help you out faster. Hope that helps!

HATE TO LOVE YOU AND LEAVE YOU

..but I have souls to shake and Webinars to write and mojitos to drink. I will be back in your inbox on May 12th, but until then, I send you a remix of your favorite song, performed by your favorite DJ, on a rooftop of your favorite hotel in your favorite city, with your favorite people toasting you with your favorite cocktail (and it’s not even being filmed for promotional/blackmail activities, how about that!?)…in my head.

SEE YOU ZOEN! WIT LOF X BUFFI
