Rock Your English! newsletter

Who rocks? Look in the mirror!

Hello dear! So lovely to be in your inbox today, and thank you for clicking on my newsletter! Has anyone told you how awesome you are today? No? Well, that’s a bloody shame. Let me be the first!

What’s Up In Buffiland

Ooh, a lot! I’m trying very hard to get everything finalized for the summer, which means preparing the last of my retake exams (14 July is the last retake test – good luck, dear students!), doing English Media Training for a very special artist AND for a very special 3FM DJ (I love working on both sides of the interview!), and making some headspace for new thoughts on a new product which I hope to launch later this year….so excited to share that with you when the time is right! 🙂

Spell Check Yourself Before You Wreck Yourself

If you’ve got a minute or two, instead of scrolling through Facebook or looking at more virals of cats playing the piano, why not test your English spelling skills? Try this fast testand see if you can beat the clock! My score was 411 – good luck!

Are you a bit thick in the head…

….when it comes to English Idioms? Most idiomatic expressions have no logic- you either know them or you don’t. This quick quiz can help you see if you know what those pesky idioms mean in real English – how many can you decipher? 🙂

Hate to love you and leave you…

…but I’ve got a jam-packed week full of work deliciousness and dealing with my new disease I can only call ‘football nerves’ – I am shuffling my schedule like crazy to be able to watch the match on Wednesday – HUP HOLLAND HUP! And you know I’m a huge fan of Krulpower….:)).

Sending you a boat filled with all your favorite athletes (and coaches!! Let’s not forget them!!) ,who teach you all their secret tricks while drowning you in a victorious champagne shower and then taking you out for a 4 course calorie free meal….in my head.

See you next week- it’s the last newsletter for a few weeks– so let me know if you’d like me to cover anything in particular! Happy to help you however I can!
