Rock Your English! newsletter

Well, well, well. Just have a look at you. Sitting right here, gorgeous as you are, reading my newsletter. Pretending not to rock. Not to be awesome. But I know the truth…you ARE! Oh, and by the way, I love what you’re wearing today. It really flatters your figure and so much better than that lame outfit you saw on sale.

WHAT’S UP IN BUFFILAND

I did a Rock Your English! workshop for Muzikantendag recently, and here’s a little film about it. My shizzle starts at 10.22. Watch me get sneezed on and lied to 😉 !!

Here I am with some Rock Your English! tips and tricks for bands, courtesy of the fine people at Next Best Band.

YOUR QUESTIONS – ANSWERED!

“Hey, Grammar Goddess, can you tell me the difference between THAN and THEN? I always mix them up!” – from the Lovely Laura, via Facebook.

Well, I sure can, Laura, thanks for asking!

THAN is used for comparison. So we’d say ‘better than, worse than, etc’. For example, ‘My English is better than his, because I get this amazing newsletter every Monday!’

We use THEN for time-related situations. You could say, for example, ‘He woke up, brushed his teeth, rocked his English, and then he got a hot new girlfriend.’ It’s that easy!
If you have a question, let me know via Facebook or Twitter. Happy to help you!
